Every 24^th day of June the Municipality of Cagwait celebrates the three day “Kaliguan Festival” which commemorates the honor of San Juan.

The said event comprises various activities such as ball games, beach dancing and search for “Perlas ng Kaliguan” whose participants are from different barangays within the municipality of Cagwait. It is also the time that these people take a break from there works and interacts with other Cagwaitnon people. The “Kaliguan Festival” highlights as well the beauty of Cagwait white beach resort. Many tourists visit the place to witness the astonishing event and enjoy the powdered white sand and alluring cool water of it.
